Exercises at Your Standing Desks

Desk exercises:

·         Rotate your head comfortably to your right as far as possible, then left.

·         Circle your shoulders and do reverse also.

·         Pull your shoulders down and back.

·         Raise your shoulders to the ears, and hold for a second. Slowly bring them down and relax.

Back exercises:

·         To perform shoulder squeeze at your desk:

·         Raise your arms in the shoulder height with bent elbows and thumbs up.

·         Move your arms back, squeezing your shoulder blades together.

·         Hold for 10 seconds and relax.

·         Repeat the exercise 5 times.

Stretch up is another exercise that can release strain from your back. Sit up as tall as possible as if a cable attached to your head is pulling upward. Hold for a few seconds and relax.

Arms:

You can perform arm relaxation at your desks. For this, drop your hands and arms to your sides and shake them gently for a few seconds.

Arm rotation proves to be very helpful for you. Stretch your hands to the shoulder and rotate your arms in a spherical motion.
